Vintner’s Diary is a 100% Latina-owned wine rooted in the vineyards of Napa, CA. Our founder, Vanessa Robledo, comes from generations of Mexican master grape grafters who began as vineyard workers in the labor camps of Sonoma and Napa in the 1940s.
Vanessa grew up working in the vineyards alongside her eight siblings and later became president of her family’s winery, the first in the United States founded by Mexican vineyard workers. In 2007, she left the family business to forge her own path as a Latina entrepreneur.
For over two decades, she navigated the wine industry independently, established her credibility beyond her family name, and proved that her success was not inherited but earned. In 2023, alongside her mother and daughter, she created her own wine brand, Vintner’s Diary.
As vintners, their diary is the wine. The sacrifices made, the lessons learned, and the stories from every growing season are captured in each bottle of Vintner’s Diary Rosé.
